After careful consideration I went with a medium and it fits perfectly. I am 5'7", curvy build. The style is a true wrap so the size is easy to customize, and it fits my chest perfectly while still giving some waist definition. The fabric has a nice, heavy feel to it — wearing this to a wedding next month and I feel very confident in it. It shows off all the right curves. If you are worried about the neckline, fashion tape works great. The wrap slit is also very tasteful. The color is absolutely gorgeous. Overall very happy and would highly recommend.

Bought this for a formal wedding. I ordered a size L because of my height but in hindsight should have bought a M, as it was a bit wide — though I was able to cinch the tie acceptably. I am 5'10" and the length was very generous, even in heels (something I never get to say!). The quality of material and make is lovely. A steamer worked wonders on the velvet wrinkles. Overall a gorgeous dress and I felt beautiful and fancy in it.

Absolutely stunning dress. The velvet is rich and drapes beautifully. I would suggest sizing up if you are between sizes and have a fuller bust, as the wrap neckline needs a little extra fabric for full coverage. Perfect for a gala or formal dinner.
